We are proud to share that our students at the British International School Bratislava achieved great results in this year’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

For the 2019/20 academic school year, the British International School Bratislava achieved a pass rate of 100% this year.

We are incredibly proud of our BISB students and teachers.  After a change in the grade awarding process, our average score is 34 which is higher than the IB global average of 29.9 points, widening the gap between the school and other IB schools around the world.

We are delighted to announce that Yoonjung K and Daniel M were our highest achievers and will make it onto our Wall of Fame with 41 points. Also on the wall fame with 40 points or more are Inigo M, Yewon K and Ema D. This is the level of attainment required to gain admission to the world's elite universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, and Stanford.

Our Principal, Karen Eastwood, said, "I am very proud of what our students have achieved in the most challenging circumstances."

All of us here at British International School Bratislava would also like to congratulate our graduating seniors. Our students have put in incredible hard work over the years and we can’t wait to see what they do in the future.

Here are some of the highlights of our students' successful university acceptance: Denis M., Daniel M and Martin M. all got accepted to study computer science in the USA based on their IB results.

Samuel J. is going to England to study criminology at the University of Southhampton.

Alexandra K. will pursue her dreams of graphic design at the Institute of Design International Florence in Italy. 

Linda B. is going to King's College in London to study International Management. Many more students are waiting to be accepted at the world's elite universities to pursue their future goals.

As a family of schools, Nord Anglia schools recorded an average diploma score of 33 points out of 45, well above the global average score of 29.9 points. Nord Anglia also had a 94% diploma pass rate in its IB schools, which is significantly above the global average of 77.4% last year. This marks seven years of our global family exceeding average scores.
