Have you heard the term food forest? It is a low maintenance perennial garden that mimics natural forest with a variety of plants growing at different levels.
To celebrate Earth day, 22nd April, the Eco-committee would like to challenge students, parents and teachers of BISB to think what they can do to reduce the food waste they produce and even try to grow some food from scratch.
The eco-committee invites our BISB families to participate in the first eco-challenge. Please see the poster for more details, join us in cleaning forests around Bratislava and share your picture in action with us.
The Primary Eco Team had the pleasure of Mrs Farhana, the Canadian intern who recently visited our School help out by passing on some of her extensive Eco knowledge and gardening tips, big thanks from all the Eco Team Students.
