The group of students spent an afternoon getting to know one another on a walk around the pond in Jamaica Plain, and ended up at JP Licks for an ice cream break. On Saturday, the group met up at Kings Bowling at Legacy Place in Dedham for a couple of hours of food and fun “on the boards!"
And while BISB students continued their learning in their classes this week, the French students toured the city, taking a Duck Tour, exploring the aquarium, following the Freedom Trail, visiting Harvard and its museums and discovering Plimoth Plantation.
Some lucky BISB students took the visitors to New York for the day, too, while others have trips up to New Hampshire and Vermont planned before they head back to Provence.
In June, Year 9 students from BISB will complete the exchange, visiting the French school in Arles.
