From the West - Framingham
Rte. 128 to 9 East, 4.8 miles on Rte. 9. Bear right at lights onto Lee Street (small lake on left). Continue to end. At lights take a left onto Newton Street then bear right. Newton Street becomes Pond Street. Look for the blue sign for The British School on your right.
From Downtown Boston (1)
Take Huntington Avenue West to Rte. 9. On Rte. 9 turn left onto Lee Street at the lights. Follow Lee Street, which becomes Clyde Street, to the end. Turn left onto Newton Street and bear right at the fork. Newton Street becomes Pond Street. Look for the blue sign for The British School on the right.
From Downtown Boston (2)
Take Rte. 1 South (Jamaicaway) and pass Jamaica Pond on right. At first set of lights turn right onto Pond Street. Go 0.5 miles on Pond Street. Look for the blue sign for The British School on your left.
Boston - South
Rte. 203 near Neponset Circle. Take Gallivan Blvd. to Morton Street. Go straight to Forest Hills overpass. After overpass continue on that street until you come to your 2nd set of lights and continue to go straight until you come to the rotary, reverse direction – take 2nd right onto Pond Street.
From 128 Via Route 9
Take Rte. 9 East toward Boston. Follow Rte. 9 approximately 3.5 miles (past Atrium Mall on right and Chestnut Hill Mall on left). At Star Market on left, continue on Rte. 9 approximately 1.3 miles to the lights at Lee Street. Turn right onto Lee Street before Brookline Reservoir. Follow Lee Street, which becomes Clyde Street, to the end. Turn left onto Newton Street and bear right at the fork. Newton Street becomes Pond Street. Look for the blue sign for The British School on the right.
By Public Transportation
Take the "D" branch of the MBTA's Green Line to Reservoir Station. At the station entrance, take #51 bus (Cleveland Circle to Forest Hills) to the corner of Clyde and Newton Streets. Follow signs for The British School on Newton and Pond Street.
On Campus:
Once on the campus (shared with Showa Boston) pull up to the security gate and identify yourself as an admissions department visitor, continue straight up the hill and bear left at the fork. The first parking lot on your right has a designated spot for "Admissions Visitors". The British International School of Boston entrance is directly across the road on the left. Please come in the front doors and sign in at the reception desk.
