I’m thrilled to have been a part of the community at BIS Hanoi since February 2022, after gaining 4 years of experience as an English and Life Orientation teacher in South Africa. During my time there, I had the privilege of working with students ranging from Year 7 to Year 13, where I developed an understanding of the different challenges and strengths that students across all age groups possess.
I'm passionate about creating a nurturing and supportive environment for all students. I firmly believe in the benefits of inclusive educational practices and their ability to empower students with diverse learning needs. My goal is to make sure that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
In addition to my role at BIS Hanoi, I am actively involved in championing inclusion as a board member of SENIA Vietnam; an organisation that advocates for students with special educational needs.
Outside of school, I enjoy exploring all that Vietnam and Southeast Asia has to offer. I also have a passion for sports, particularly volleyball, and I’m the proud coach of the varsity volleyball girls team.
