This week, our Year 10 students held a cookie decorating competition to celebrate the end of their most recent well-being unit under the theme of 'Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.'
The tutor representatives, along with Mr. Wright, the Head of Year 10, arranged this special event for the year group with the goal of acknowledging what they have learned during their wellbeing lessons, as well as bringing the entire group together for an enjoyable teambuilding experience. Based on the photos and comments, all Year 10 students had a great time decorating cookies ! Plus, the activity was made competitive by the addition of praise points for the winning tutor groups!
All tutor groups were given the same equipment, including homemade cookies and frosting, food colouring, spoons, and bowls, to create a cookie mosaic that represented the well-being theme of the previous weeks. Our students had to work as a team not only to create a design, but also to recreate it on cookies that they could eat afterwards!
Our Year 10 students worked incredibly well, showing great effort, communication, and perseverance, and they were able to successfully create some beautiful mosaics that fit perfectly with our well-being theme, as evidenced by the final designs.
Congratulations to 10S for winning the cookie decorating competition and 10H for finishing second. A huge thank you also to the tutor representatives, Xuan Mai and Cam Tu (10I), Siwoo and Xuan Minh (10B), Gia Khanh and Taeyeon (10H), and Ngoc Linh and Dahyun (10S), for their hard work in organising such a wonderful event.
