Principal's Weekly Update (26 August 2022)

Dear Parents,

It has been wonderful to enjoy the first full week together with your children and have a chance to see everything in full motion. In addition, my thanks to all parents who have joined us for the parent and teacher information evenings in both Primary and Secondary this week. There is one more session next Tuesday for our parents of Years 10-12.  We look forward to seeing you there!
 

We hope you have found the information useful to set the scene for learning and teaching for the year ahead. In addition to these sessions, we will be offering workshops in different sections at various points. These will be advertised to you as they come up during the year. The Events Calendar on the website has some advance dates already for you to check. Each term there will also be a chance to meeting individually with teachers to review your child’s progress.

Thank you to all of you who have joined us this afternoon for our first BIS community event – The Welcome Back Family Event. It was great to connect together as a community, to enjoy some fun activities, food and drink.

Please be reminded that Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd September are Public Holidays(Vietnam National Days) and so school is closed.
