In April, the school entered a regional South East Asian competition run by the British Council to highlight the issues surrounding Climate Change and Girls' Education through creating an informative infographic.
There were 7 winning entries from over 70 submissions from various schools in different countries. 3 of the entries were from our school, which demonstrates the quality of their submissions and their passion for Geography and investigating global issues within our local context.
The winning infographics will be presented to policy makers, alongside their pre-recorded interview, in a regional conference held virtually on June 24th which aims to increase access to and provide education for young girls across South East Asia by empowering young people to make their voices heard.
The winning entries were from the following students:
Additionally, a special mention for The Phuc Mai (Year 9) and Jimin and Rie's (Year 10) entries which were credited as one of the 7 'Highly recommended' by the British Council representatives.
A full list of winners and their infographics can be found here.
A huge well done to our students who have represented our school incredibly well on a regional and international scale.
