Principal's Weekly Update (18 March 2022) Another full week in our Virtual School Experience. I hope you and your families are managing well despite the huge challenges we are all facing with the global pandemic.

Dear Parents,

I am delighted to confirm that the local authorities have given us permission to allow students in Year 8 to Year 13 to resume learning on campus again from Monday 21st March onwards.

Currently, certain restrictions and protocols remain in place. Please read the latest version of our reopening plan document called Together Again below for further details.

Once again, our school have only been allowed to be open for mornings only for now. Periods 1 to 4 will be on campus. As no food can be provided yet, students will have to go home at lunchtime. Periods 5 and 6 will therefore be virtual for now. Buses will run as normal.

Please be reminded again that our new security system is now in place. Secondary students have been given new ID cards or will need to pick them up from the Secondary Office on the day of their return. Please refer to the previous communication from Principal Office for further details.

My team and I are continuing to develop plans for the next academic year as we anticipate things being back to a new normal. As shared last week with you all at my Principal’s Coffee Morning regarding our school development priorities, we have a range of exciting areas of focus to share with you over time. For the moment, we are committed to making the very best of the restrictions placed upon us.

Wishing you all a restful and healthy weekend.

Kind regards,

Richard Vaughan

Principal
