Weekly update from Head of Primary

Dear Parents,

One of the many wonderful benefits of being part of a global group of schools is that our students have access to an online platform called Global Campus.

Global Campus is a portal for Nord Anglia students from all around the world to engage in activities, challenges and additional enrichment opportunities. As part of the curriculum this week, we launched a special week of Global Campus challenges for the children to explore. The challenges were drawn from the diverse selection of topics on the Global Campus website. Topics included health & wellbeing, STEAM, performing arts, literacy, cooking and the UNICEF sustainable development goals.

It has been fantastic to see the students taking part in such a wide range of activities and earning badges for themselves and the school. For more information, and to explore Global Campus with your child further, please click HERE and log in.

Another highlight from this week was seeing Year 5 travelling back in time - all the way to 900AD! - to kick-start their new topic. I hope you enjoy this video, which spotlights the adventurous learning that has been taking place across our Year 5 classes.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend,

Rebecca Carroll

Head of Primary

Primary Learning Highlights

As part of their IPC topic, our Year 5 students embarked on an adventure to uncover ancient cultures this week. They went back in time and visited the Mayan civilisation to learn about their way of life and customs. It was an exciting excursion for all students, and they have learned a lot during their journey.

Let's take a look at some of the amazing learning that has been going on in Year 5.
