A welcome break from our usual Virtual School routine

KS3 Lock Down Game 1
A welcome break from our usual Virtual School routine On Tuesday (June 1st), our KS3 students competed in their first Virtual House Competition, called "The Lockdown Games." Their Heads of Year assigned them four fascinating assignments in which they could earn points for their house. Towards the end of the game, the House with the most winning points was crowned champion.

On Tuesday (June 1st), our KS3 students competed in their first Virtual House Competition, called "The Lockdown Games." Their Heads of Year assigned them four fascinating assignments in which they could earn points for their house. Towards the end of the game, the House with the most winning points was crowned champion.

The first round of challenges include gathering as many items as possible from around their home that are the same color as their House. A variety of inventive exhibits were set up as our students enthusiastically searched for trinkets and home objects that matched the color scheme of their House. The second task was to dress up as their House Mascot using basic things and materials found around the house. We got a number of great photos with unique ideas and fascinating poses that demonstrated our students' creativity and intelligence.

In the third task, our pupils had to use their minds to solve a code breaker. They had to read a secret message and follow its instructions to fulfill a task after they decoded the code. The final challenge in the lock down games was to write their House name using only items from their kitchen. We were ecstatic to see that towards the end of the challenge, each House name had been portrayed wonderfully and artistically.

All of our KS3 students were delighted about our exciting activity, and they had a fantastic time competing during the challenge. Our tutors and Heads of Year were blown away by the enthusiasm by all students who took part and shown their allegiance to their House community.

Hue deserves a huge congratulations for becoming this time's House champion. Your incredible success was the result of the combined efforts of all House members. Excellent work, students! A special thanks to Gi Yeon for putting togther this event celebration video! Check out the video here!
