This week, I have really felt like school life at BIS is returning to normal. Weekly assemblies are important to us and today saw the return of small assemblies in the auditorium and theatre. Our first parents’ workshop was also held with the theme of transition from Primary to Secondary. Year 6 students will begin taster sessions in Year 7 next week.
Next week, we will see our first musical Live Lunch in the foyer which is always a source of enjoyment for students and staff alike. Year 13 students have taken over the organisation of the event and have been busy holding auditions this week. Early morning swimming sessions are also due to resume on Monday.
Our BIS community is certainly back on track to becoming as vibrant as ever!
We have had an action-packed agenda of inter-house activities, Christmas performances from Foundation Stage and Year 1, and today we had our Principal’s Award Assembly for the whole school.
I hope you have all had a good week and are beginning to get into the festive spirit ahead of the holiday season.
Thank you to all families who joined us to be entertained with our Secondary theatre production of A Little Shop of Horrors this week.
From Sunday onwards, we have had our CIS/WASC visiting team here at school. This has been a great opportunity to share all the wonderful things that we are providing for our students across all sections and to gain further insight and ideas to help us improve even further.
