During our trip to the post office, the students bought stamps, placed it on the envelopes and dropped them in the post boxes themselves. Learning outside the classroom setting always creates fun and meaningful memories for children.
This term, F3 has been studying the topic of Family and Friends. As an international community, we are all from different countries around the world. Our classes have been exploring ways on how to stay connected to our families even when we are away. We have been using technology to make video calls to the teachers’ family members in Kuwait and the Philippines. In addition, they have also been learning that they can send letters and presents through the post.
In the past few weeks, all F3 students have been writing letters and drawing pictures to send to their families! During our trip to the post office, the students bought stamps, placed it on the envelopes and dropped them in the post boxes themselves. Learning outside the classroom setting always creates fun and meaningful memories for children. It was a great experience for them and we believe their favourite part was licking those stamps! Hopefully these precious letters reach their families!
