FOBISIA Golf Tournament 2019 The boys did really well alongside a total of 120 students and some amazingly talented golfers. Our highest position in the ranking was Quoc An who came 5th.

Day 1 (March 10):

We've arrived at the amazing Black Mountain Golf Resort in Hua Hin, Thailand. What an incredible place!! We arrived at 4 pm and then it was straight down to the driving range, chipping area and putting green for practice. We then had a lovely meal in the clubhouse before heading back to our accommodation. Tomorrow is the practice round where our four golfers will have a full 18 hole round of golf. We can't wait to get started! Bring it on!

Day 2 (March 11):

Beautiful day here at Black Mountain Resort. We had an early breakfast before a few hours of extra practice at the driving range and putting green. The boys headed out for their 18 hole practice round of golf at 11:36 am. I was following in a buggy and saw some fantastic shots. Fortunately, the golf course allowed the competitors to hit extra balls on each hole for added practice. This evening we have the opening ceremony and a welcome dinner. The tournament starts tomorrow and we can't wait to get started! We've all got an early start as our competitors all tee off for separately between 8 am - 9 am.

Day 3 (March 12):

Today was the first day of the competition. The students had to wake up really early in order to get some last practice in. The weather was super hot today with a lovely blue sky. Excellent conditions for a round of golf. The boys all had excellent tee shots off from the first hole and looked great throughout their round of golf. The competition was extremely tough and there were many talented golfers in all age groups. There was even a junior world champion! Our boys were excellent and scored the following after Day 1.

Vu Quoc An - 76
Bao Long - 78
Hoang Minh - 106
Viet Phuc - 64 (played 9 holes)

All to play for on the final day of the competition tomorrow.

Day 4 (March 13):

Today was the final day of the competition and we were up really early again for extra practice. Amazing weather again but the wind picked up a little in the early afternoon. Another very tough and competitive round of golf today! The boys did really well and are all really tired this evening. The results on the final day are as follows:

Quoc An - 78
Bao Long - 79
Hoang Minh - 101
Viet Phuc - 62 (played 9 holes)

There were a total of 120 competitors and some amazingly talented golfers. Our highest position in the ranking was Quoc An who came 5th.

Tomorrow we check out really early and head to Bangkok for our flight home. What a fantastic trip!!!
