BIS Hanoi Mega Map, a Very Useful Tool

In Geography, so far this half term we have been using the Mega-Map to learn about a variety of different topics.

In Geography, so far this half term we have been using the Mega-Map to learn about a variety of different topics. For example, Year 7 have been using the map to investigate locating our place in the world by practising using Latitude and Longitude coordinates.

This morning, Year 9 were investigating how different regions around the world will be experiencing different impacts of climate change, and researching about these places using the map to add an extra sensory dimension to their studies. Just this afternoon, Year 10 were practising their sketch-map drawing and inquiry skills during an investigation into the physical and human factors that have influenced the population distribution of North America.

The Mega-Map is available to all students of all ages and I would encourage my colleagues to let me know all the exciting ways that they have used the Mega-Map in subjects other than Geography.
