Dear Parents,
04.04:Our Year 6 adventurers have landed safely at Da Nang Airport and are now on their way to have lunch.
After checking into the hotel, the children will enjoy an afternoon of team building games followed by a fun hour in the hotel swimming pool.
04.04: Year 6 were super excited to arrive at the airport. We were early, so we had time to play card games. When we landed, we ate in Danang. The food was great, Mib loved the egg fried rice. Later we arrived at the hotel and played team games. The Running team won the marshmallow challenge. We then enjoyed a soak in the pool, we played volleyball. In the evening we got to eat Cao Lau. Which is a traditional Hoi An dish. The rest of the evening we were introduced into a new game called the Chocolate Challenge. Huy Anh nearly ate a whole bar to himself.

05.04: Today has been action packed. We toured the old town in the morning. Afterwards, we got to interview tourists and do our land survey to discover more about Hoi An’s tourism industry. In the afternoon, we discovered how silk is made and attempted to thread our own garment. Finally, we got to try our hand at dumpling making. They were delicious.
07.04: Yesterday was action packed. We started at the farm, where we made rice paper rolls and learnt to plant seeds, with a seaweed compost. After, we took part in a tug of war. We then got to make traditional spring rolls, which we cooked and ate ourselves. The afternoon was great too. Firstly we started by making pots at the pottery village. Later we travelled back to Hoi An, where we made our own lanterns. We finished off the afternoon with a cyclo ride through the Old Town.
Mr Sam Wilcox, Year 6 teacher
07.04: I would like to inform you of the slight delay in the return flight from Hoi An to Hanoi. The new expected time of arrival at the BIS is 4pm.
I will let you know if there are any further changes.
