In order to enable more students to be able to access after-school CCAs, we will be continuing to offer a CCA bus service during the Academic Year 2019-2020.
Students at both IB and IGCSE have achieved outstanding results and it is such a reward for their hard work as well as acknowledgement of the fantastic support from their teachers and parents.
Year 12 students Solenn, Asim and Omar have represented The British International School Abu Dhabi at the NAE-UNICEF Student Summit in New York City. It was a productive week of learning about and discussing the Global Goals and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
So we reach the end of yet another busy and successful year at the British International School Abu Dhabi. It is a time for reflection and celebration as students, parents and teachers get to relive the achievements of the year.
In line with the Global focus on World Ocean Month this June and Plastic Free July, our Student Service Leaders (the Eco Explorer Team), have been promoting the importance of recycling and reducing our use of plastic in school this term.
Our Little Stars performed their final showpiece last week. It all started way back in September, where the students played drama games, learned songs and developed their growing love for the performing arts!
Student Service Leaders at The British International School Abu Dhabi decided that it would be a nice idea if students in our school showed their appreciation and got to know our support staff better.
The great Roman philosopher Seneca said “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end”. One of the inevitabilities of life is change and international schools are not immune to this.
Safety is our utmost concern, and as such we would like to take this opportunity to share procedures which ensure that our buses meet and exceed ADEK and Department of Transport requirements.
