Today’s students are growing up in an increasingly complex world, living their lives seamlessly on and offline. This presents many positive and exciting opportunities, but also challenges and risks.
World Kindness Day is taking place on Wednesday 13th November. As a school, we are raising awareness of the importance of kindness in our everyday lives and highlighting all the wonderful things we do as a school community to help and care for others.
On Saturday 12th October, 28 of our students from Year 4 – 6 had the absolute honour and pleasure of welcoming astronaut Hazzaa Al Mansoori at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi.
Year 6 Students who have volunteered to act as Red Crescent ambassadors in school were very proud to hand over a donation of school books to the organisation on Thursday.
In line with Health and Safety requirements, we must conduct two lockdown drills each school year. We have reviewed our calendars and have decided to hold the first drill for this year on Wednesday 18th September 2019.
In order to enable more students to be able to access after-school CCAs, we will be continuing to offer a CCA bus service during the Academic Year 2019-2020.
Students at both IB and IGCSE have achieved outstanding results and it is such a reward for their hard work as well as acknowledgement of the fantastic support from their teachers and parents.
