OUR HISTORY

Since 1957, North Broward Preparatory School has been educating, empowering, and inspiring students from early childhood through 12th grade. Through the years, we’ve grown into an international community representing over 50 countries and one of the best international boarding schools in Florida.

Our Founding

James Montgomery began NBPS in Lighthouse Point, Florida.

1957

Joining Coconut Creek

NBPS moved its Upper School Campus to Coconut Creek, Florida.

1998

Excelling as an IB Diploma School and Apple Distinguished School

NBPS launched the academic gold standard of the IB Diploma Program and also became a leader as an Apple Distinguished School with seamless technology.
