BISS Puxi has a Healthy Eating Policy. Our school menu is varied, providing choices to suit everyone's taste. We teach all children about the importance of hygiene, eating healthy meals and exercising as part of a balanced lifestyle.
Our policy is to provide nutritious food at all meal and snack times with limited and controlled quantities of fat and sugar. We ensure children only receive food and drink consistent with their dietary needs and their parents' wishes. Our caterers are happy to cater for all restricted diets (dairy free, gluten free, allergies, etc) as well as vegetarian or vegan diets.
On Friday 26 April, Year 9 students were taken on an interactive, immersive and educational experience, in which they were able to take an A – Z look at chocolate production, taking them from bean to bar!
Year 9 students and a very brave Year 12 embarked on a new adventure on the 25 April. Accompanied by two members of the French department, they explored the Former French Concession around Fuxing Park to discover the history and some of the stories of the time when the French thought they could, perhaps settle, in Shanghai.
The BISS Ball, held at the W Hotel in Shanghai, was a dazzling affair, combining elegance with purpose. As guests entered the venue, they were greeted by the enchanting ambience that set the tone for a fantastic fundraising evening.
