OUR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Léman International School Chengdu is one of the top international schools in China. We welcome children aged from 2 to 18, and our ambitious but inclusive community is home to students from many different backgrounds and nationalities.

We offer a rolling admissions process, which means your child can join us at any time during the academic year, so long as we have places available.

Your journey starts with our admissions team, who will guide you through LIS Chengdu’s entry requirements. They can also arrange an in-person tour of our campus or schedule a virtual discovery meeting.

We understand that applying to a new school can be time consuming, which is why our expert admissions team are always available to help. They can answer your questions and support you through the process.

To apply, you’ll need to submit the following documents:

Our online application form.
A copy of your child’s passport.
A copy of the parent or legal guardian’s passport.
A copy of the child’s Chinese visa.
Two passport photos of the child.
A copy of the child’s immunisation record.
School reports or transcripts from the previous two years (Reception-Year 13 only).
Our parent questionnaire.
Language profile (Year 3-13 only).
Teacher recommendation form (Year 1-13 only).

THINGS TO CONSIDER

OTHER LIS CHENGDU ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The teacher recommendation form must be completed by your child’s current school and submitted by them to our admissions office.
Documents in other languages must be translated to English before submission to our admissions office.
Families whose child is joining our Early Years programme (Nursery through to Reception) should also present a copy of their child’s school report, if available. Teacher comments, an end-of-the-year report, or summary evaluations are all helpful to us.
