At the British International School of Charlotte, we offer a unique preschool and kindergarten program that’s different from what’s typically taught in North Carolina.

Our British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum is founded in the principles of learning through play; developing social, personal, and academic skills; and providing fun, practical activities that teach fundamental literacy and math concepts.

The EYFS curriculum is enhanced by elements of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). The IPC is a thematic, topic-based program, where learning spans different subjects and is delivered through real-world contexts.
