ENGLISH NATIONAL CURRICULUM

Secondary school is a critical time for developing intellectually, socially and emotionally. At TBS Warsaw, our learning approach for Years 7 to 11 is based on the widely respected English National Curriculum – Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Our Key Stage 3 programme ensures that children make a smooth transition from primary to secondary education. This stage emphasises the importance of core competencies in literacy, numeracy and science. Students build skills in analysis, research and critical thinking as they tackle issues of local, national and global significance, connecting their classroom learning to real-world applications.

In Key Stage 4, our students develop deeper knowledge and independence as they prepare for their International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) assessment. This well-balanced curriculum supports each student’s academic, social and personal growth. Our results speak for themselves: in the previous academic year, 37% of our IGCSE students achieved at least eight As or A*s, helping them to obtain admissions offers from top universities. • What size are your classes?
Our secondary school classes have 20 students on average (22 students maximum).
  • My child doesn't speak much English. Will they be OK?
Yes! Our English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme is designed to support newcomers with little or no English. At TBS Warsaw, children learn English very quickly thanks to our immersive English-speaking environment.
  • How is Polish integrated into the curriculum?
Native speakers of Polish study a curriculum based on the Polish Podstawa Programowa, enabling them to obtain their end-of-year Polish certificates (Świadectwo). Non-native speakers study Polish as an additional foreign language.

Through our Learning Enrichment Activity Programme (LEAP), we offer a variety of extracurricular activities every day of the week, including sports, music and creative workshops.
  • Do students wear uniforms?
Yes, our students wear a smart and comfortable uniform. We believe that wearing a uniform instils a sense of belonging and respect. • How much are tuition fees?
As a premium international school, our tuition fees reflect the outstanding quality of education that your child will receive. Annual fees for the 2024-25 school year range from 113 920 PLN for Year 7 to 118 325 PLN for Year 11.
