A high priority for Windermere Preparatory School is to create global citizens that will contribute to the 21st century in meaningful and impactful ways. During the day, our school ensures the students grow academically in the classroom, although we know that there are intangible lessons that happen outside of the classroom as well. As a result, we offer a variety of programs that focus on enhancing their social, emotional, and physical well-being. We also provide opportunities for them to develop social consciousness about the world around them.
In addition to being well-rounded, we encourage our students to get involved with our extracurricular activities so they are continually developing character traits that will help them beyond their high school years. Our Arts and Athletics offerings are some of the many ways students can increase their involvement in our community. Additionally, with over 20 various clubs, organizations, and honor societies available, including the Student Government, our students can find ways to develop their passions and show leadership in a safe and supportive environment.
Throughout the year, we encourage our students to participate in activities that provide experiential learning. Below is a list of events all students can participate in and include events for individual grades.
