We are very excited to welcome all our wonderful Northbridge International School Cambodia students back to school. I have been back on campus for two weeks now and have really enjoyed working with teachers to ensure we continue to offer a robust learning experience.

We continue to improve our teaching
The world in general is in challenging times with the current Covid pandemic which has had a tremendous effect on all of us around the world.
At Northbridge we continue to be creative and explore ways of ensuring that students continue to develop and learn. As we begin the new year, we have spent some time reviewing our learning provision from last year and have taken note of feedback received from staff, students, and parents.
A welcome to our new Primary school leader
It is a pleasure to welcome Ms Angela Botero who has travelled from Colombia and is our new Deputy Head and PYP coordinator this year. Ms Botero is a highly experienced PYP leader and has had varied roles in her career. I look forward to working with her in the years ahead and continuing to develop the PYP here at NISC.
The importance of working together
As we approach the start of the new year, I would like to stress the importance of all students engaging in the learning process in such a way that they will continue to progress in their understanding.
We will be sharing with you this week some expectations for our students and seek your help, both in assisting the students and emphasizing the importance of continuous commitment to their learning.
More than ever the students need our help to provide routine and consistency to ensure ongoing progress over the year ahead. At NISC we will do all we can to support and encourage students to be the best that they can be.
Google --> Microsoft
In line with global Nord Anglia Education strategy, we have shifted our operating platform at school from Google to Microsoft Office 365. This will give us further flexibility in our learning provision.
The main change is that students will now join virtual meetings through Microsoft Teams rather than Google meets. Our aim is to support you and students to ensure that this will not cause any disruption for the start of school.
We will be running a help desk on Monday morning where you can drop into school and receive support if needed: Monday 9am-12pm at the Primary entrance.
If you have any questions, please contact Primary PA Ms Socheata: Socheata.Meas@nisc.edu.kh
Thank you!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and look forward to a great year ahead and seeing our students again on Monday morning.
