Transitioning into a new Secondary school can be an exciting time for young people and often marks a new phase in their lives. Whether they are moving from Primary to Secondary school, from MYP to DP, joining us here at Northbridge International School Cambodia, or even moving on to higher education, it is a part of growing up and brings with it change in an important way.

The Northbridge International School Cambodia Grade 12 Advisors, along with Mr Jeganathan and Mr Andy, the Grade Level Leader, took 67 of the Grade 12 students for a residential three days down to Shalom Valley just outside Kep.

Student leadership plays a pivotal role in a Primary Years Programme (PYP) primary school such as that at Northbridge International School of Cambodia.

The inquiry-based teaching on the Primary Years Programme (PYP) means asking effective questions that underpin how we nurture students to be life-long learners and support our students to understand how they learn. The IB advocates several ways families can support their children as PYP Learners.

In today's dynamic world, student leadership has never held more importance. At Northbridge International School Cambodia, we recognize that developing leadership skills isn't just an option; it's a cornerstone of holistic education that prepares students for a globally interconnected world.

It is with great pleasure that I can share with our Northbridge International School Cambodia community about an organization and initiative that is close to my heart as an educator. It is my firm belief that the students of today will become the agents of change to create and foster a better world for all.

Throughout the year, Northbridge International School Cambodia STUCO (Student Council) has held an active role in hosting events for the student body. We organized STUCO Day, a Winter Formal, a Spirit Week, fundraisers, and NISC’s 25th anniversary time capsule celebration. In managing such events, we have been able to grow not only as students but as leaders as well.

In a fitting finale to their first year on the Learn to Start program, Northbridge International School Cambodia Grade 9 showcased their projects at the Startup Studio networking night, attended by parents, faculty and members of the Phnom Penh business community.

On Tuesday, June 6th, Northbridge International School Cambodia hosted the PYP exhibition, a fantastic celebration of learning. The fifth-grade students demonstrated remarkable passion, commitment, and resilience.
