Play comes naturally to children. There is vast research that states it’s the most powerful way for children to learn. Last weekend our Junior Girls and Boys Northbridge International School Cambodia Nagas football teams went to ISPP for their final games in the ISSAPP (International Schools Sports Association Phnom Penh) season.

Welcome to the monthly update from the Northbridge International School Cambodia Parent Council, which follows their regular meeting and discussion with Principal Mr Richard Vaughan. At the very heart of the IB MYP and DP programmes is service and action (or activity) which informs our institutional approach to MIA's here at Northbridge International School Cambodia. MIA is an abbreviation for Mission In Action with the clear emphasis on service with the other dimensions of adventure and team building skills.

In our PYP music program at Northbridge International School Cambodia, we have been enjoying starting to use our new NUVO j-flutes in Grades 4 and 5. Ms Jennifer was lucky to be able to visit our sister Nord Anglia school BIS Ho Chi Minh City last year and learned a lot from the Music Director there, Mr Ian Alexander.

An exciting opportunity opened to the Northbridge International School Cambodia MUN Group this year. Our school received an invitation to join the biggest and the most prestigious MUN Conference in the world: The Hague International Model United Nations, in the Netherlands.

Teamwork and collaboration are key skills that Northbridge International School Cambodia students must develop to thrive in the future.
