Northbridge hosts first ISSAPP swim meet
This past weekend the Northbridge Nagas were honored to host the first ISSAPP (International Schools Sports Association of Phnom Penh) swim meet. There were 186 swimmers competing in 51 different events ranging in ages from 6 to 18. It was an amazing day with great energy from all the fans and athletes.

Health and safety update
As part of our ‘Emergency Plan’ we have been practicing certain procedures with our students over the past couple of weeks. We have now had a notified Evacuation Drill and a Lockdown Drill. These are both systems which enable us to manage different types of emergency situation with a large volume of children and adults on campus. We will continue to refine and develop these over time.

How to foster a love of reading
In last week’s Primary blog, Kate Watson-Penhall discussed the importance of building reading stamina in young students. Many Primary students enjoy reading and value their library time. Once students reach Secondary, they are less likely to read for enjoyment. Students choose to spend their free time in other ways, engaging more with friends, extra curricular activities, and technology.
