From 5-7 February 2020, the Grade 12s ventured on their very final MIA at Northbridge International School Cambodia, and this year we had something different planned for them. In previous years our Grade 12s had stayed in Phnom Penh to prepare for their mock exams, this year with mock exams over we wanted to engage our students in some reflective and relaxing activities as well as something new.

This semester, Ms Andrea and Mr Will’s Grade 6 English classes at Northbridge International School Cambodia are reading a novel called The Breadwinner. This story is about an 11 year old girl living in Kabul, Afghanistan, during the Taliban era of the 1990s, when extreme restrictions were placed on women, including banning school for all girls.
