Nord Anglia Education welcomes prestigious Dalian school into its global family.

Nord Anglia Education (NAE), China’s longest-standing international education provider, today announced its expansion into the city of Dalian in the north east of China.

NAE is proud to welcome the Dalian Huamei Bilingual School (DHBS) to its growing family of China Bilingual schools. As part of its educational offer, an international stream is provided through the Dalian American International School (DAIS).

More than 700 day and boarding students from over 30 countries are taught both bilingual and international curricula at the school. These students now join NAE’s global student family of 67,000 classmates in 29 countries around the world.

Following today’s announcement, Nord Anglia’s global family of schools comprises 69 schools, with 17 located in China. NAE’s bilingual offering is based on the Chinese National Curriculum, blended with globally respected international teaching pedagogy and education resources.

About the Dalian School

Dalian American International School was established in 2006 in the Golden Pebble Beach National Resort in Dalian’s Jinzhou New District, about 60 kilometres east of the city centre. It educates students from Pre-K through to 12th grade from all over the world. In 2018 the Dalian Huamei Bilingual School was established to offer a nine-year compulsory Chinese education taught in the Chinese language as well as western courses taught in English. Altogether more than 700 students representing some 30 nationalities are enrolled.
