Happy International Day of Families!

Today, families around the world are celebrating the International Day of Families, and what better way to celebrate being a family then by cooking and sharing a meal together.

Happy International Day of Families! Our recipe book, The Big Eat, is full of inspiration and ideas for you to join families around the world celebrating the International Day of Families by cooking and sharing a meal together.

Today, families around the world are celebrating the International Day of Families, and what better way to celebrate being a family then by cooking and sharing a meal together.

Need some inspiration? Primary students from our schools around the world recently shared their favourite recipes with each other in the Global Classroom Big Eat activity.

Our students shared how to plan and cook their dish and discussed their favourite foods with their fellow pupils. With over 100 different nationalities represented in our student population, we were overwhelmed by the variety of delicious family favourites and local delicacies. The Big Eat recipe book showcases the best of our students’ culinary ideas and experiences, with savoury eats and sweet treats to appeal to all the family.

Eve Cooper, a student at La Cote International School, shared a recipe for delicious pancakes – she said “This is a special recipe for me because I make it every weekend for my family. We all love pancakes, so I decided to find a recipe from my family cookbook. It is the first thing that I ever learnt to cook all by myself and now I don’t even need the recipe."

Why not try making some of the meals with your family tonight? You can read the book online here or download it below.
