Maree has been teaching since she graduated from Rhodes University in 2014. She has taught throughout primary and on all our ISM campuses. At university in South Africa, she majored in English and Psychology; two subjects that she is deeply passionate about, before completing her PGCE in Primary Education.
Maree believes that all students can be successful if we spend the time getting to know and understand them. Some of her greatest successes had nothing to do with the academic results of her students. She remembers instead the students who made friends, found their voice or who became passionate about a particular subject.
When she isn’t teaching, Maree loves getting lost in a good book or trying new cuisines on her travels. Maree’s first international flight was when she moved to Russia in January of 2014 and it has always been her goal to see as much of the world as possible while she can.

Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from Rhodes University South Africa
PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) from Rhodes University South Africa
