Hour of Code Week

1

This December, students in Year 7-9 are taking part in the global Hour of Code Week, an exciting initiative by NAE Global Campus that introduces them to the world of computer science and coding. The event is designed to engage students of all skill levels, providing them with the opportunity to explore the basics of coding through interactive, fun activities.

Learning to code opens up a world of possibilities. Beyond just creating software, coding teaches students how to think critically, break down complex problems, and develop solutions step-by-step. These skills are not only valuable for future careers in technology but also enhance general problem-solving abilities that students can apply across all subjects.

By participating in Hour of Code Week, students are being introduced to the immense potential of computer science, which has become an essential skill in today’s digital world. The event also highlights the importance of inclusivity in technology, encouraging students to explore coding and consider pursuing it further in their studies and careers.

HAPPY CODING!
