I'm thrilled to have been a part of the team at BIS Hanoi since 2021, bringing with me almost two decades of teaching experience from international schools around the world. Before landing here in Hanoi, I had the pleasure of teaching in our sister school, BIS HCMC, as well as Dulwich College Shanghai, Munich International School, and the British International School of Budapest.
As Assistant Head Teacher, I'm incredibly excited to continue my leadership journey here at BIS Hanoi, where I aspire to foster a supportive learning environment and help students thrive both academically and personally. I'm especially interested in current research on cognitive load theory and proven effective study strategies, which can support students in developing effective study habits. I believe this gives our students the tools they need to manage their wellbeing on their journey to academic success.
In my spare time, you'll often find me exploring the natural world around me. Whether hiking through scenic landscapes, or marvelling at the wonders of a lava field, I have a deep appreciation for the beauty and processes of our planet. I also enjoy practising yoga, singing, reading and getting lost in the streets of Hanoi.
