Dear Parents,
Taking care of your children is our number priority and as the weather heats up, we want to make sure that everyone is safe when playing outside at break and lunch time. In addition to our playground shading outside, we do ask that the children wear their school hats every day to protect them from too much sun exposure. A water bottle is also essential every day to keep them hydrated and then sun cream to protect their skin from sun damage as well.
In the final six weeks of the term, there are lots of events and opportunities for parents to come into school. Shared Learning on May 30th is the one I am extremely excited about. Making a return after Covid, it is a child-led event where your child will sit and share their reflections on their learning this year. For the students, it is such an incredible way to celebrate their learning and the challenges they have learned to overcome with their parents, and as a parent, it is just magical sitting with your child and seeing learning through their eyes. We do hope you can all attend Shared Learning on Tuesday May 30th 9-10:30 am.

As the academic year whirls by, the first term in primary school draws to a close, marking the end of a whirlwind of learning, growth, and new experiences.
As we move towards the end of term, our Primary exit points are always a great celebration of learning that has taken place over previous weeks and months.
At BIS, in addition to the excellent opportunities we are providing in the classroom, we enrich the students experiences and learning by taking them on day trips.
