Dear Parents,
What a wonderful start to the Lunar New Year we have had with our Year 8 to Year 13 students returning to on-campus learning for the mornings.
To add to this, we have now been given permission for our Year 2 to Year 7 students to join us from next week onwards. This is a cause for celebration for both staff, parents and students alike.
We now wait for further information re our F1 to Year 1 students in due course, along with the option to increase to full days on campus. We will keep you posted as updates continue over time.
As you will have seen from the communications in regard to our health and safety procedures, we have an ongoing challenge to balance the various different elements of learning and teaching within normal school life, along with various health protocols in place. These are very complex times for us all.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your ongoing support throughout our period of virtual learning and to thank you for your partnership as we move forward together to bring the school community into a ‘new normal’ rhythm of on-campus learning. This partnership is critical for us to achieve the very best we can for all our students.
Have a good weekend.
Kind regards,
Richard Vaughan
Principal
We have had an action-packed agenda of inter-house activities, Christmas performances from Foundation Stage and Year 1, and today we had our Principal’s Award Assembly for the whole school.
I hope you have all had a good week and are beginning to get into the festive spirit ahead of the holiday season.
Thank you to all families who joined us to be entertained with our Secondary theatre production of A Little Shop of Horrors this week.
From Sunday onwards, we have had our CIS/WASC visiting team here at school. This has been a great opportunity to share all the wonderful things that we are providing for our students across all sections and to gain further insight and ideas to help us improve even further.
