Principal's Weekly Update (17 December 2021)

6 2
Principal's Weekly Update (17 December 2021) We have come to the end of the first term of this academic year. It is also the end of my first term as Principal.

Dear Parents,

We have come to the end of the first term of this academic year. It is also the end of my first term as Principal.

What a warm welcome I have received from all I have met; staff, parents and students alike. It is very clear to me that we have a special community that works together, even though the real challenges we have faced with COVID-19 and the need to move into our Virtual School. Throughout my discussions with staff over the past months, it is clear that they delight in teaching ‘our’ students – who are ‘your’ children. This is a real credit to you all. Well done.

Term 2 begins for ALL students on Wednesday 5th January. We will let you know whether our virtual school remains or face-to-face learning can be resumed when we are informed by the relevant authorities.

In January, we will send out our annual Parents Satisfaction Survey. This is an opportunity for you to provide feedback on our educational provision. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a restful break over the holiday period. Do enjoy some time with your families and friends.

On behalf of the staff team here at BIS Hanoi, let me wish you all a very Happy Christmas and Happy New Year 2022.

Best wishes,

Richard Vaughan

Principal
