We are very proud to share the incredible success of one of our Year 9 students who recently participated in the ASEAN Youth Initiative Conference (AYIC) in Bandung, Indonesia. Pham Bui Gia Han was selected under a special youth scholarship to represent Vietnam youth. This was the third AYIC which invited sixty of the best youths from ASEAN member states and the theme for this year was ‘Timely Action for Sustainable ASEAN’.
Gia Han effectively represented Vietnamese youths in advocating solution initiatives and action plans toward the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal number 14 (Life Below Water). She delivered a presentation on the protection of marine and aquatic ecosystem in the ASEAN region, followed by a short Q&A session from the other judges and delegates. She won the ‘Most Outstanding Initiator’ Award! What an accolade!
