IB Diploma students at BIS Hanoi enjoy outstanding results for the 2017/18 academic year.
BIS Hanoi students have achieved strong results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for the 2017/18 academic school year. BIS Hanoi’s average score this year is 32.3, which is higher than the IB global average, an extraordinary achievement in the school’s first year of completing the International Baccalaureate.
“We are incredibly proud of our pioneering students. We cannot underestimate this special achievement. To exceed the global average in our first year of delivering the International Baccalaureate is credit worthy.” Sue Hill, Principal of BIS Hanoi said.
Andy Puttock, Education Director of Nord Anglia Education, said, “I am delighted by the outstanding IB diploma results achieved by our students this year. This excellent outcome is not only due to their efforts but also the incredible hard work put in by the school’s teachers throughout the year to ensure our children experience the best in learning.”
He added, “For eight consecutive years, students at Nord Anglia Education schools have exceeded the IB Diploma global average score, achieving a pass rate of 94% compared to the global average in 2017 of 78.4%. This is a testament to our Be Ambitious philosophy, highlighting that there is no limit to what our students can achieve.”
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, commonly referred to as the IBDP, is a two-year education programme for students age 16-19.
