Happy Holiday Wishes from Everyone at BIS Hanoi

Dear Parents

There has been a lovely build up to the holiday season at BIS Hanoi and we come to the close of 2017 in fine spirits!  It was cheering to see so many of you at our midweek parent-teacher social.  The teachers delighted in your company and look forward to strengthening their bond with you over the next 12 months.  A vibrant and supportive home-school partnership is so important to us and events like Wednesday’s nurture that special relationship.

Today, we had a very competitive House competition, that had everything such an event needs- inspiring speeches, delivered by proud captains; screaming crowds- cheering on their favourite players and some brilliant performances at team and individual level. As I write, the final placings are being decided so go good luck to Dalat, Saigon, Hue and Hanoi.

Later, I will be attending the final assembly of 2017- the Principal’s Awards.  Congratulations to the secondary winners:

Although we must celebrate individual successes, the truth is that all of our children have made a contribution to BIS Hanoi, this year.  Our choir sounds sweeter, our teams enjoy victory more often, the charities we support grow stronger, as a result of the collective effort of the students.  The year 2017 at BIS Hanoi was a wonderful one but we will be working hard from January to make 2018 even greater!
