Dear Parents,
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend last Friday’s presentation on Digital Citizenship, Safety and Device Usage. It was an excellent opportunity to share dialogue with parents about Digital Citizenship; how to use devices responsibly and how we can all work together to ensure the safety of our students when they are online.
We would like to share the presentation with the school community and ask that you please review it. Should you have any questions, please contact us. Please note that we have added a list of possible software options to help at home for parents looking to include more parental controls to the final slide #30.
We firmly believe open and continuous communication between parents, students and teachers is absolutely necessary in order to ensure internet resources are used responsibly, and our students stay safe online. To help with this, we will be following up with more presentations early next term in order to continue to promote communication between home and school. We look forward to working closely with you as we support our students, helping them to learn how to be respectful, responsible and safe online.
Kind regards,
Mr Steve Labelle & Mr James Trett
