We recently re-launched our “That Extra Step” certificates as “Be Ambitious” certificates. As mentioned in assembly this morning this is an important development as it suggests students not just taking the next extra step but many extra steps in an ongoing process to continually thinking ambitiously.
Our first Be Ambitious certificate winners are Quoc Huy and Annie who created a stop motion animation to help their understanding of mitosis. It is an excellent piece of work and explains this difficult concept very clearly. Don’t take my word for it though, it is on youtube at the link below:

The next four Be Ambitious certificates will be awarded next week for enterprise projects.
At the beginning of October 2024, the British International School (BIS) Hanoi proudly supported some of our brightest mathematicians from the Secondary school as they participated in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge (UKMT SMC).
