A welcome break from our usual Virtual School routine
On Tuesday (June 1st), our KS3 students competed in their first Virtual House Competition, called "The Lockdown Games." Their Heads of Year assigned them four fascinating assignments in which they could earn points for their house. Towards the end of the game, the House with the most winning points was crowned champion.

Primary Assessment Week at BIS Hanoi
Each year, towards the end of term, BIS Primary students participate in an assessment week to support the teacher’s judgement of student attainment over the year. A fun and challenging STEAM Week at BIS Hanoi
Last week students from Years 1 to 6 participated in the Virtual STEAM Challenge. For three days, one per phase group, a prerecorded video launched the challenge. Each student was required to research, and then perform a scientific experiment whilst filming and presenting a ‘TV show’. They were encouraged to watch an episode of Emily’s Wonder Lab on Netflix for inspiration.
