The British International School Hanoi will host the first Southeast Asia region Nord Anglia Performing Arts Festival in collaboration with The Juilliard School from 2-6 April, 2019. This exciting event gives students the opportunity to attend music performances and participate in unique workshops and rehearsals led by talented performers and music educators, including Julliard-affiliated conductor Radu Paponiu.
In the UK they have been celebrating the British Science Week from March 8th-17th. Here at BIS Hanoi, we have been celebrating it every day this week across all year groups.
The boys did really well alongside a total of 120 students and some amazingly talented golfers. Our highest position in the ranking was Quoc An who came 5th.
At BIS Hanoi, we use Talk for Writing to develop children’s reading and writing skills. For any child, learning to read is crucial in learning to write: it supports their vocabulary, inspires their creativity and provides a clear structure. Through the use of actions and key vocabulary used within Talk for Writing, children are enabled to become writers with a whole skill set.
Cho Won Ho (Jack) from Year 8 and Nguyen Duc Tuan from Year 11 won the Wild Rhino Competition 2018/2019 in the Junior and Senior Categories respectively.
Our students recently competed in the U13 FOBISIA Games in Phuket. The Lionhearts walked away with a large haul of medals and trophies in swimming, athletics, basketball and football.
We are delighted to announce that British International School Hanoi came 3rd place overall across the whole competition! This is absolutely fantastic, and the four teams should be very proud.
UNISMUN XI began with students Choi Yoon Seo, Jeon Jin Woo, Park Sung Woo, Nguyen Duc Tuan, Vu Duc Hang Giang and Nguyen Ha Minh taking their positions in the Human Rights Council, General Assembly 2, the Environmental Committee, the Special Conference, General Assembly 3 and General Assembly 1 respectively.
