We had a fun evening on Tuesday, when over 50 Year 8 parents attended lessons at British International School Hanoi. The Teach Your Parent event was organised by Mrs Wild (Head of Key Stage 3) with the support of the year 8 teachers but the real stars were the children and their parents
As a staff here at British International School Hanoi, we wish all of the students who are preparing to take their external exams, the very best of luck, and that they are rewarded for the effort that they have put into their studies.
Service projects can be local or international. They can range from small scale action groups working at a micro level to collaborative groups involving multinational agencies that ambitiously strive to solve problems on a global scale. British International School Hanoi is home to a full range of service projects as the following examples illustrate.
Last week the British International School Hanoi hosted ten universities from the Colleges that Change Lives Tour. Throughout the week we also hosted individual schools from the US and the UK. On Friday we had a large fair of 17 schools with 10 being from Australia and 7 from the US. It was a great opportunity for students to see two very different systems.

Representatives attending the Nord Anglia regional conference visited the secondary section, this week. The guests received a tour of the school from six of our Year 10 students. The principal of the British International School of Ho Chi Minh City, Tim Deyes, commented on how impressed he was by our student guides.
As Mr Rowlands passionately stated in the secondary assembly, we don’t want any of our children to be excluded from talking to each other. When in school, the children must seize the opportunity to discover more from the people around them by using our common language of English.
